Build. Your. Dream.

Project, Cost and Consultancy support for your Construction and Yachting Projects.

Satevis MC is a construction consultancy based in central Europe providing bespoke services for large international projects. We are chartered with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and have extensive experience in France, the UK and Ireland working with some of the world’s biggest contractors on industrial, commercial, retail and education projects.

Our bilingual credentials have been invaluable along the Côte d’Azur, managing high-end renovation and re-fit projects such as residential buildings and luxury hotels, and has helped gain us access to the exclusive world of ‘Palace’ hotel renovations in Paris. As well as offering full management on any project, we also offer on-site management and financial advice to help with development appraisals, due diligence and technical audits. But it’s our “tailor-made” approach, designing bespoke project plans to meet the exacting needs of today’s multi-national client, that we think gives us a competitive and commercial edge.

Satevis comes from the Persian for Antares, the star in the sign of the scorpion. It is known as the ‘Watcher over the west’.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Andrew Bates MRICS provided cost management services for the extensive renovation of this prominent hotel located on the Côte d’Azur.

The works involved the complete strip-out of the existing services and finishes and replacing them with modern facilities contained within a North-African inspired interior design.

The mission was for a traditional Anglo-Saxon cost management role and took the project from detailed design through to final account agreement.

The renovation of the 6th and 7th floors of this prestigious hotel in Monaco took place whilst the hotel was fully functioning hence all works had to be undertaken with the greatest regard for client requirements.

The works consisted of creating a new Spa on the 6th floor whilst replacing the gym, restaurant, bar, terrace and pool area on the 7th floor. All had to be complete within a very tight programme to ensure it reopened in time for the Grand Prix.

Andrew Bates MRICS provided Cost and Project Management services for the duration of the pre and post contract works.

Andrew Bates MRICS was involved in the competition for a tower development located on a high profile site, associated with some very high profile individuals.

Andrew Bates MRICS was involved on this project as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Bank Monitor on this technically challenging, highly prestigious project located in Monaco.

The works comprised excavating 50 metres into the hillside to create the necessary floors as well as sufficient car parking spaces. The construction was then a traditional reinforced concrete frame and walls with decorative mouldings, harking back to the Belle Epoque period.

The mission developed from a pure Cost Management role, encompassing the Project Management, Furniture, Fittings and Equipment procurement for the show apartment and the Bank Monitoring. The latter mission was due to the complexity surrounding the project and the need to have full overview of all aspects of the project whilst maintaining a duty of care to all clients.

The renovation of two residential retirement homes into 53 apartments located in the centre of Cannes will be completed in 2016. Le Saint Jean is a collection of three buildings, from three different eras and three different styles, which have been unified to provide contemporary, generously proportioned apartments in a secluded setting. Parc Lacour is an adaptation of 1980’s structure into mixed size apartments, with roof top pool and decks.

Satevis MC are providing Project Cost Management services for the conversion, with the French Specification documents being prepared by our partner, Quatorze MC.

Chinook started life in 1916 but when she was found a number of years ago, she was far from seaworthy. A laborious reconstruction ensued with the ultimate goal of returning her to as close to her original design as possible. She was re-launched in May 2013 and has since gone on to prove her pedigree, winning numerous regattas around the Mediterranean.

Satevis MC provided assistance to the site based project manager by developing a work schedule which could be understood by all. As the time for launch drew closer and the work item list refused to diminish (as is often the case with wooden yachts), the project manager was able to prioritise the items on the Critical Path and ensure that she made it to her first regatta in her rejuvenated form (she got third in class!).
